Cathy Hudgins Community Center at Southgate is located in Reston, Virginia and provides a variety of recreational, educational and cultural activities that serve families, seniors, adults, teens, youth and individuals with disabilities.
The facility and daily activities of Cathy Hudgins Community Center at Southgateare managed by Fairfax County’s Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS). The mission of NCS is to bring people and resources together to strengthen the well-being of individuals and communities.
Cathy Hudgins Community Center at Southgate staff work together to promote the well-being of individuals, families and the community by providing a variety of programs and services; by facilitating community engagement to identify areas of need and enhance capacity for serving those needs; and by connecting residents with a broad spectrum of county- and community-based resources and services to help them be safe, be healthy and realize their potential. The diverse programs offered at Cathy Hudgins Community Center at Southgate strive to meet the needs and interests of the community and are either free or low cost. Center space is also available for county residents to reserve for community meetings, clubs, classes or even social gatherings.
